Bolsena is a small, medieval town (although it actually dates back to Etruscan times), on the shores of Lake Bolsena. It is a popular tourist resort, being on the lake, with all necessary amenities on hand. It has easy access to the historical towns of Viterbo, Orvieto, Castel Giorgio and Montefiascone, to name but a few.
