Celleno, originally an ancient, medieval village lies 90 km from Rome and Siena, 150 km from Florence, 15 km from Viterbo and 25 km from Orvieto and is in easy reach of Lake Bolsena and Montefiascone. The old centre of the village has been mostly abandoned with a new centre springing up around it. It has a ruined castle and a large medieval convent which has been recently restored. Every year it is host to the Cherry Festival. It is well connected to both the lake of Bolsena and the various historical towns in the area and the village has all necessary amenities.
