Description

This property is located in the heart of the Calanchi Valley, on the border between Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany. The valley is famous for it unique landscape created by water erosion of the clay, and its woods of ancient oaks and olive groves. It is a truely unique property, located in a peaceful, open position, with a stone and tuff cladding, surrounded by 6,000 sq. m. of land containing an elegant Italian garden.

The villa, an historic sixteenth century building, renovated using bio-architectural principals, has not lost any of its magical atmosphere, retaining the echoes of the previous generations.

During the renovation many of the original features were kept and carefully sourced materials from local artisans, such as terracotta tiles, mosaics, and specially chosen wood for beams were used when necessary.
